Our Painless Alma Diode Laser Hair Removal System

This PAINLESS diode laser is able to treat ALL skin types, including very dark skin. It uses a concentrated beam of light and heat that is directed into the hair follicles and the melanin contained within them. The surrounding skin is protected and only the hair follicle is destroyed. This process is very FAST and has no downtime. No special numbing creams or pain relievers are needed. Results are permanent.

Nd:YAG Laser

This type is generally used for removal of tattoos and hyper-pigmentation, but is sometimes used for laser hair removal as well. A special carbon lotion must be applied to the skin in order for the laser to penetrate the hair follicles. Although effective, this type of laser creates more discomfort and is NOT painless.

Ruby Laser

This is the first laser that was ever used for hair removal. It is effective, but each session takes much longer than other methods due to the 2 second delay between light pulses. There is significantly MORE PAIN with this method. Also, it is NOT able to treat darker skin types.

Alexandrite Laser
